Once a refund has been initiated, you will receive the refund as a credit on your payment card in the same currency as what you've paid for. The refund takes approximately 5–10 business days to be reflected in your account, depending on the individual bank's processing time.
Refunds may sometimes be reversed instead. When this happens, the original charge will no longer appear on your credit card statement and a separate credit will not be issued.
In some cases, if the card's validity had expired or was cancelled, refunds may not be successfully processed. Your card issuer will usually credit the refund to your replacement card. If you do not have one, they may deliver the refund to you using an alternative method (e.g. cheque or bank account deposit). Do reach out to your card issuer for help in these cases.
